Abstract
This Project addresses the crucial challenge of implementing Inclusive Education effectively in early childhood, focusing on overcoming the attitudinal barriers identified in the Diverlandia Pedagogical School, Neiva. Specifically, the resistance of some parents to the constant use of artistic languages, such as the visual arts, is analyzed, as they mistakenly perceive
them only as recreational activities, which undermines their value as an academic and integrating tool.
Therefore, the General Objective of the research is to design a pedagogical strategy, based on the plastic arts, to strengthen the learning process of subtraction in students of the Transition grade, under the inclusion approach. The study is justified by the need to reduce the gap between the robust Colombian legal framework and real educational practice, demonstrating the inherent potential of art as a tangible and accessible mediator that facilitates the understanding of abstract logical-mathematical concepts, such as subtraction, from action and experimentation.
Methodologically, a Qualitative Approach is adopted with an Educational Action Design, seeking to generate contextualized improvement actions through immersion and collaboration with the community, through documentary review, participant observation and semi-structured interview. The resulting strategy seeks to transform the pedagogical and cultural conceptions of the school, consolidating the visual arts as an essential resource that expands opportunities for participation, enhances integral development and ensures a truly inclusive educational experience for all early childhood students.
